2. In short
This website sets no cookies, uses no advertising tools and loads nothing from third-party servers. We count visits with our own script without cookies (section 4). Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own web space. You send enquiries directly by e-mail; the only form is for supplier applications (section 7).
3. Server logs
When you visit, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, requested file, browser identifier, status code) to deliver the website and protect it from misuse. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not analyse these data or combine them with other data.
4. Visitor statistics
We count page views with a small script of our own on our web space, without cookies and without third-party services. Recorded are: page viewed, time, referring website (name only, e.g. "Google"), language, device type (computer, tablet, phone), approximate country, and clicks on e-mail, phone and external links. We do not store your IP address. To count visitors per day we create a one-way hash of IP address and browser identifier with a key that is generated anew every day and then deleted; nobody can be recognised across days. If a visit comes from a company network whose name is visible through public name resolution (reverse DNS), we note that company name (domain); connections of private internet providers are discarded. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving our offer and in business development (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data stay on our web space and are deleted after 13 months. You can object by disabling JavaScript or by writing to us.
5. Hosting
The website is hosted by adino (adino.at), acting as our processor.
6. Enquiries by e-mail
When you write to us, we process your details and attachments to answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Our e-mail service is Microsoft 365.
7. Applying as a supplier
If you apply as a supplier using our form, we store your details and attachments on our web space (outside the public area) and transfer them to our computers for review. We use them only to assess a cooperation and to contact you about suitable enquiries. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or pre-contractual measures (point (b)). You can withdraw your consent at any time by e-mail. If no cooperation results, we delete the data after 24 months at the latest. To prevent misuse we count applications per connection and day using a one-way hash; the IP address is not stored.
8. Video
The product video on the training & simulation page is stored on our own web space and loads only when you play it. No data is transferred to video platforms.
9. Disclosure to manufacturing partners
For quotation and production we pass technical documents to manufacturing partners as far as necessary. We neutralise them first: your name, contact details and company name are not passed on.
10. Retention
We delete data once they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply (in particular seven years under § 132 Austrian Federal Fiscal Code).
11. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to office@maesertechnik.at.
